Gavin Murdoch and Chris Cooper have been producing under the name Only10Left since 2005. The young lads, at 22 and 24, are both faithful users of Ableton Live as both a production and live performance tool. Stemming from entirely different ends of the dance music spectrum, their influences fuse beautifully. Murdoch claims that he 'took the back door entrance into dance music' becoming fascinated with the intricacies of Aphex Twins 1999 hit 'Windowlicker', whilst Cooper proudly admits that he took the more conventional pathway before being 'pulled over to the darkside'. The pair, both somewhat OCD with regard to attention to detail in production, are constantly pushing each other to greater heights, always looking for the next pumpin' bassline, foot-stomping build up or chest-pounding beat.
